If your team won it all that spring you would claim it as well lol. Not sure why Kentucky gets so much hate for that. Yeah, it's just dishonest jealousy. It's lame.

Lukes is a stud. Plays all the way around. Does everything. WCC player of the year. First Teamer? I feel like she got POY over Blossom because she’s a home grown WCC player bjt definitely first teamer, they wouldn’t be there without her.

Blossom has some of the quickest hands when setting, it looks like she barely makes contact with the ball before she pushes it.

I don't know much about USD other than it's a private catholic school. How big is it, how is it regarded in the area, etc? I graduated from USD in January 2018. We’re like 7-8,000 undergrad students, maybe a little more since enrollment’s been going up. Biggest issues to me are housing (they give way too little space for how much they charge), parking (they keep taking away lots and SD does not have the best public transportation and it’s v hard to bike to some parts because it’s on a hill), and most of all that it is very much a PWI and needs to do a much better job supporting its minority students and addressing incidents that have harmed them. In terms of how we’re regarded in the area, not as good athletically as SDSU but our women’s vb team has always been our best performer since I’ve been there and after. Also not as hard to get into as UCSD. BEAUTIFUL campus, that’s kind of what we’re most known for lol. As for my experience, I didn’t enjoy having to take religion classes but I had amazing professors and got to work two incredible jobs, one of them being live stats for USD women’s vb . It was great for me also because I had an academic scholarship so I paid public school tuition but got the small classes and close relationships with professors of a private school. I still keep in touch with a lot of them. BUT, I am dying for us have a men’s vb team. Our football is non-scholarship and I know we would get so many kids looking to live in SD and go to a school less rigorous than most men’s vb schools. I’ve posted about this so much on the mens forum lol

Congrats to San Diego, I have to admit that I didn’t know much about them and thought they were probably rated much higher than they deserved. I was obviously wrong

Not what I was expecting. San Diego might be able to pull this off. Only team I think looked better yesterday was Texas in their first two games. Texas game 3 and 4 does not beat SD.

San Diego played so clean, they have so many weapons (Lukes, Frohling, Edwards and Blackwell)
Katie Lukes defense and serve receive last night was outstanding
Blossom and Lukes are definite All Americans

Blossom has some of the quickest hands when setting, it looks like she barely makes contact with the ball before she pushes it. She's talked about how that's the biggest change she's made to her game at San Diego. They run a much faster offense, so she had to adjust and decrease her contact time. I remember at Penn St she would deep dish back sets pretty often. Now she's a lot more deceptive.

I am very unfamiliar with the San Diego team. Can someone tell me who besides Blossom transferred into their program this year and are starting?
