This was discussed a little bit back when Michella Chester and Emily Ehman did their fantasy draft on NCAA.com, but I thought it would be fun to bring the discussion back this week while we have a few days until the Regionals start. So, for the sake of this discussion I want to see who everyone would put on a 12-person roster of players from this year, using NCAA rules of course (15 subs, liberos serve, etc.) so this leaves more room for 3-rotation players if that's what you prefer....which leads me into a stipulation I have for this. As much as possible, let's leave players in the positions they actually play this season (so basically not moving an OH to Opp or vice versa). And then from that 12-person roster, what would your regular/starting rotation look like?
And then taking it one step further; what would your 3-person coaching staff be? Again, keeping with the stipulation that it must be the position they actually hold (for example, head coach must be a head coach; associate head coaches/assistant coaches must actually hold those titles). This will keep us away from just choosing 3 head coaches to lead our team lol
I will include mine in a separate post after I take a little more time to think about it!
I'm just super bored sitting here waiting for Thursday lmao

If I include backups I feel like it’ll get controversial, so lineup is:
Nuneviller/Bergmann
O’Neal/Jehlarova
Kipp (wish I could do Fields)/Pukis
Fleck
I’d probably have some sort of combination of Fields, Eggleston, Landfair, Buzzerio, Grote, Hord, and Rodriguez on the bench. If we’re playing against top pro teams, I’d actually probably lean Roddy>Fleck. I’m not sure who my backup setter would be. Maybe Miner, Stucky, SKT, Lazaro, Powell. I don’t want an undersized setter (Blossom, sorry).
Pro would be:
Herbots/Gabi
Carol/Zehra
Boskovic/Wolosz
Castillo
This lineup would definitely be flexible with the backups. Ogbogu, Egonu, De Gennaro (sp?), Zhu Ting, Carlini, maybe Frantti now?? She’s going crazy lately in Italy.
