I am not that familiar with Arlington, but I did Google restaurants near the venue. A few chains, a few local places, but the one that stood out to me was Hurtado Barbecue. I've never been there, but I've heard great things. It's a Tex-Mex twist on BBQ (about 3/4 of a mile away from College Park Center). If you're looking for a local experience, you can't go wrong with Tex-Mex, BBQ, and giant portions of food. Pappasito's Cantina in Arlington for Tex-Mex. Thank me later  I like the whole pappa chain of restaurants… and I hate chains |

Just back from the match...lower section was pretty much full, it looked like they had only opened up half the upper section, and that was about 80% full. Pretty good crowd considering it was a weeknight. |

Well, for those of you who were in attendance tonight, how was it?! It looked like a really great crowd! The crowd had amazing energy (even for the Poland/Germany match). And there were a lot more in attendance than I imagined for the quarter finals. I was surprised how many adults were there sans children. I figured it would be a bunch of local club kids with their coaches, but my section was filled with older fans. Would love to see the final attendance numbers. |

Well, for those of you who were in attendance tonight, how was it?! It looked like a really great crowd! some Polish fans arguing with security before the Poland - Germany match. Security did not allow them to bring in their drums and trumpets. I’m sure there will be more like this on Saturday. The crowd is too decent. No one’s standing and getting too loud and excited. Hopefully, the Saturday match will have better crowd. |
