24 days til the spring game. Should provide some insight into the fall line-up, especially if one or more freshman start. Regardless expect lots of experimenting with the line-ups in the fall within a 5-1 system. GBR! Is Mendelson practicing with the team or doing the BBall thing?

I am sure there is a good explanation, but Texas played beach this year with its indoor players, and is still playing 4 spring matches. Why does Nebraska only play one spring game?

I suspect that at some point the players need some personal down time. Their annual schedule allows for very little of that. Being a NE volleyball player requires a commitment that few would be willing to make. Definitely not most college students, myself included, but that was many decades and hundreds of moons ago for me.

If you see it on a second night, it's not a different moon. It's the same one. Again.

Perhaps Coach Cook is of the opinion that the time is better spent in the gym working on fundamentals, getting a look at the Freshman and getting all of the players playing time since 1/2 the team is sitting on the bench during the spring match. Also, I am under the impression that the one spring match they do play is more of a way to thank the people of outstate Nebraska for their support than a training opportunity.

random but just found out Kenzie Maloney isn't actually playing in the pro league she's just on the player relations staff... I'm sure you all knew that by reading the actual post unlike myself but I'm sad I thought we were gonna see a comeback one of my all time NCAA favorites, good for her tho

Could be the difference of having a roster of 14 vs 20 also… ? Texas very much only has 14 people playing right now. the exact same number as Nebraska. Skinner/Wenaas/Kahahawai/Miller O’Neal/Bergmark/Singletary Phillips/Byrd Swindle/Crownover Halter/Akana/Heinrich
