I like the all reds long sleeves, or maybe the all blacks long sleeves, from a fashion perspective. From a sporting perspective, whatever our players are most comfortable and confident in!  |

What a way to end this season (not a good one). Still so proud of what this young team has accomplished. So many great memories except what happened today. Hoping this result motivates the f*** out of them next season.

Well let me be the first to say I’m so proud of this team and everything they’ve accomplished this year and this is only the beginning! Those girls should be proud of how far they’ve come. If we had to lose to anybody I’m okay with it being Texas bc if it was anybody else I probably wouldn’t have recovered🙃

I'll have more to say later but for now :
- EVERYONE was bad today, but make no mistake, Ally Batenhorst has no business being in our lineup next year. Three years more than enough. Call me harsh.
- Merritt was a great in-rhythm type hitter this year but boy she had a rough Final Four, which not so coincidentally was a terrible passing weekend for us too.
- We need an OOS outlet
- This was incredibly embarrassing, but at least right at this moment the heartbreak doesn't feel as strong as 2018 and 2021 because we never had the match within reach.

I think too Lexi Rodriguez has to step up as a leader. She is such a great fundamental libero, but would love to see her be more aggressive in serve receive and more of a vocal leader. When your team is passing as badly as it was in set 2, the libero needs to take up more space and poach. Seemed like she couldn't affect the game in serve receive and then it translated to her defense.

The last game sucked. Not really any other way to put it without using at least one expletive. However, if you had told me that this team was going to go 33-2 and finish with a Big Ten championship and as National Runner-Up, I would absolutely take that. I don't want the last game to color what this season was. It was great.
Time to turn the page a look forward to next year. They'll be back and so will I.

A healthy Krause takes that spot and then Skyler Pierce will provide some great depth. |
