Okay I just have to tip my hat to all 8 teams that played today. Seriously this was the best Elite 8 I can ever remember. I'm exhausted. 19 sets of knock down drag out fights. These women are amazing competitors and athletes and that was a fantastic day. Our sport is so so good y’all.

Nothing against Stanford, but San Diego wanted this match more. They had something to prove. For one thing, that the Selection Committee made the wrong decision in making Stanford the #1 seed, in their Region. San Diego played with a chip on their shoulder, sort of speaking. Did Paul tell you that? LOL.

Stanford outpassed San Diego by a huge margin (2.20 to 1.91) and USD still won. Gabby freaking Blossom.

San Diego just proved that the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee had it all wrong. San Diego, should have been the #1 see, not Stanford. To me, the only reason why Stanford got the #1 seed is that they are from a Power 5 Conference. To me, the reason Stanford got the #1 seed is four more victories over Top 25 programs. A lack of such victories is a sin often committed by the Rainbow Wahine, who would rather hide in the Islands and clip coupons at the Stan Sheriff Center than play a difficult schedule that includes neutral and road court matches. Losing to LSU in the first round demonstrates how tournament-ready a hiding and coupon-clipping strategy makes a side.

A fair question, for sure. But Ohio State had a lot of chances yesterday being ahead in the rally and couldn't get out of their own way (with some obvious credit to Texas grit, too). San Diego's offense is way better and those OOS swings will be taken by Lukes and Edwards, not Moore and Gonzalez lol.

Yeah, the committee had a valid reason for putting Stanford in the 4 slot instead, but they then put SD in the very next best position... from which they excellelled. I think that was legit and no disrespect at that level. I'm sure Stanford took them 100% serious. Heading into the tournament, San Diego was 2-1 vs. Elite 8 teams. Stanford was 0-3. After tonight: 3-1 and 0-4. How was USD against Top 25 teams?

Okay but Kipp is still a first team AA lol Not sure, Frohling did out hit your girl and her team won. Winning is what is most important, no? Your argument makes more sense for discussing NPOY. It does not make sense for knocking someone out of first-team A-A status. There are plenty of first-team A-A's who didn't make the Final Four. Are you even hinting that no B1G or Pac-12 players should be first-team A-A? Only the most rabid Power 5 haters would think that.

The committee did Stanford no favors by seeding them over San Diego.
I think that fired up SD but put pressure on Stanford.
I will love to see a San Diego vs Pitt rematch in the championship
