Appreciate you posting that! Seems good at developing players. I worry about recruiting. Anders was great in that area. anders also was predominantly in charge of the offense during his time as assistant, which has been probably our strongest asset as a team over the years so im worried to see how him leaving will affect our offense. luckily most of the starting hitters return as well as grome

More recently the offense has been a strength.

I haven't watched much of 2017-2019 recently so I could be wrong but I never thought of them as a defensive powerhouse since they've been in the top 10 conversation

Their strengths throughout their rise have been passing, setting and offensive efficiency.

I’ve always been under the impression he was in charge of the defense. I think I remember a Gabby Curry interview where she credited Anders for his ability to develop players, but specifically highlighted middles and liberos, which doesn’t suggest offense to me. I’ll have to see if I can find it.

Oh and our defense, usually blocking, has absolutely been our overall Achilles heel since like 2017.

I literally feel like Bajema hit like the same sharp cross court shot in front of curry 48585 times that match. It makes me almost underrate curry’s career bc I was so frustrated
