Just wanted to reflect on the 2022 season before moving on. It was a rollercoaster to say the least. Madi transferring really hindered our chances at a great season this year no question about it although I’m happy for her continued success.
There was just too many new pieces for us to compete with the elite teams this year as seen by the brutal OOC schedule and game last night. I am proud of how they bounced back after a poor start and came together during SEC play to at least grab another conference title and a solid sweet 16 run.
With all that said, it’s time to turn the page to 2023. Skinner returns a great core in Grome, Beavin, Rutherford, and Tealer and brings in a top 5 class that looks extremely promising for the future. It will be interesting to see who all transfers out and if Skinner goes to the portal to fill some needs. Think they need to figure out the middle situation (is bell done here?) and also figure out the left side and DS positions.
As a Kentucky fan you have to be excited about the future and also the upgrades that are finally coming to Memorial. Not sure where they end up playing next year though which should be interesting.

Think they need to figure out the middle situation (is bell done here?) and also figure out the left side and DS positions. I think Bell is done. Honored on Senior Day, and no returning announcement like with Tealer. I'm also not sure UK even has an available scholarship for a 5th year for her.

I bet we look for a left side in the portal I want Tealer to start getting reps over there ASAP. Tealer + Deleye could be a great LS duo. Goetz/Williams/Bultema/Dailey (one of those two) in the middle, Rutherford on the right? I'm not mad at it!
