These Grome sets.... Whatever she started doing this spring she needs to stop lol. Drop that class, change the shoes, change the pregame lunch, anything we could have the most ridiculously physical 6-2 next year and it would make our block better and get Tealer more swings on her natural position and allow Bultema to play right away for sur |

yikes i hate to see how grome missets on a freeball. the common problem with the fast offense is the setter rushing the set without timing it with the middle blocker. in the end, the set is either too fast/low/misplaced, and it's an opportunity wasted.

Is that like someone who will be here in the falls position or just as you said that, they set the rs and got a kill. i like the flow between the purdue setter and their outsides. the sets are fast, but high enough that they can get a full extension and power behind those swings. |

Heard grome on a podcast say they are trying to make the offense even faster with Ben on staff so maybe that’s a reason why she’s missing this spring way more than usual.
Really hoping a few of these stud freshmen coming in can make a difference this year.

She probably won't be there. She's an OH filling that role for the spring. The planned RS is injured and Annie Drews 2.0 doesn't arrive until the fall. But I also don't think Renner is confident setting the OPP. Balensiefer was much better at it last year. |

Wilson is not the answer. it’s more of a Grome thing to my eye. Wilson is 6 foot 5 and she’s getting set so low. I’d like to see more before I make a judgement but yea she’s certainly not being as productive as I would have thought |

I swear Melby has never gotten a great set in her time here. It's always low, tight, OOS, etc. Just once I wanna see her rip into a perfect in-system set
