Sarafa redshirting makes the most sense and it is good to see Jenkins is a solid #2 Setter. Bultema is going to be a major factor by the end of the season. She moves really well. UK has the talent and size to make a good run in the post season. Need to keep the key players healthy.

Surprised to see Williams start over Goetzinger as well as Tuzzo over Walker. Thoughts on this??? I think the writing is on the wall. Goetzinger might not be in the rotation by the end of the season. Young MB talent has a very high ceiling on this team |

I always thought a healthy Williams might sneak into the starting line-up. She was the No. 7 recruit in her class after all. said nobody ever lol. I struggle to believe you actually predicted Williams would start with Goetzinger returning and Bultema having the hype lol this is a dumb post

Literally nobody expected Williams would start and you acting NOT surprised Deleye didn’t start contradicts your old posts and furthers the narrative that you’re just trying to be a know it all. |

No idea why you brought up Deleye again, but yes, please find the post where I said she will start as a 6-rotation OH day 1. I definitely said I think she should start (still do) and that she has 6-rotation potential.
And I never predicted Williams would start over Goetz, but I think she could, as my post suggests. And I've consistently said that I don't think Bultema will be as much of a factor this year because of our other middles.
This is just a case of you getting pi$$y with me for some reason, so you get all riled up and don't read posts carefully enough. Calm down or go root for Pitt, this is stupid.

I feel like we talked about this? The knock on Goetz has always been that she's not the best blocker. If she can show she's improved there, you have to play her imo. If Craig thinks her block is holding us back, Williams will play.
Nothing against Bultema, I just have a hard time seeing her win a spot. She's basically gotta prove she's better offensively& defensively than them both, or be significantly better in one area and not much drop off in the other. And I just think that's a tall task for a true freshman.

The good thing about this team is they will have good options at every position. I trust Craig and Ben to make the right decisions to put Kentucky in the best spot for a deep run this season.
I'm just hoping they start a lot better than last year cause that was miserable.

hoping this team sneaks up under the radar this year as a FF contender, we have a lot of experience with Beavin, Grome, repo, and Z. lamb and Wilson have a decent amount as well with some good freshman pushing to get on the floor at every position. The B team should be more competitive in practice this year which will hopefully help us get over the hump of not winning many of our top 10 matches

Looks like she's ranked 4th in IL on prepdig. Doesn't seem like Skinner is getting the highly ranked players in this class, but have to trust how well he develops them.
I will say her most recent hudl looks pretty good.

I hope they prove me wrong. Louisville and obviously the Nebraska match will have big attendance numbers this year. I think both of those teams *should* be decently even matchups for Kentucky so we'll see how they do in big environments that they should be able to compete in |
