If Dalton plays I give the edge to Pitt, if not, I dont think Ennis will be as effective against Tilman/Jones.
I would argue PK made a big difference at UL. Creese was still playing MB at Pitt. PK is a legit blocker and her offense has come a long ways.
I am expecting a much tighter 5 setter.

Agree with many on here, after being in Madison Saturday night it was obvious that Pitt requires production from someone else in addition to CBuzz & Fairbanks. VVG needs to remain solid in SR as she was the Badgers main target all night and for the most part held her own. But offensively either her or Ennis/Dalton will need to be "on." Gray & Nwokolo can pretty much be counted on as consistent at this point, even though Nwokolo was occasionally subbed out for Sabrina Starks. Given they check all the aforementioned boxes and keep up the defense that they displayed Saturday night, I'll vote they give the Cards a run for their money. Throw in a couple service runs by Flood and I think this goes 5 and stays close for most of the match.

I still stand by if Dalton vs Ennis. So glad to see that an ACC team will be in the National Championship.

Does anyone know what’s up with Dalton? Thought she was injured and then saw her play against Wisconsin on Saturday. Surely Ennis didn’t beat her out. I thought it looked like she aggravated the injury in the short time that she played Sat. Hopefully she can play Thursday.

I’m rooting for Pitt (although I think my team might match up better against Louisville if they make it that far)!

If Texas and Pitt make it to the finals, Nicole Dalton is going to have mixed feelings. Her alma mater vs. her younger sister.

If only these two were on opposite sides of the bracket. Hopefully we get an epic 5 setter. I watched both regular season match ups and while Pitts win was great. Louisville embarrassed them when they played in Kentucky. Neutral court and a chance at the Finals. They are both very familiar with one another it should be interesting to see what the coaches do and any strategic moves they make

I didn't realize that Florida State in 2011 was the only ACC Final Four participant EVER until Pitt and Louisville in 2021. Increasing conference FF appearances from 1 to 5 in the last two years - good job, ACC.

(But it would also be cool if you wanted to become a full-time subscriber ) Going to have the USD post up later today and then the Texas and Pitt posts tomorrow.
