This is tough. I think Texas pulls through this match. However, you know who won't win? Whichever team "wants it more." Can someone ban this saying? Can we also ban "playing with a chip on their shoulder"? while I agree that UT wants this as much as USD, the shoulder chip is real. It makes teams play with a controlled anger that is a great antidote for tentativeness, and IMHO the best mental approach to a Final Four game. |

In all honesty, it's likely I'll make a similar mistake in the future. It was not a literal statement. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I'm not the first to make a joke about it. Plenty of people have offended others with what they thought was funny before. Plenty more will do so in the future. YOU make comments you think are funny, that said with a different audience would be considered offensive. That doesn't make your comments wrong, or something you should take back. You've just done a better job of recognizing your audience than I did in this particular instance. Again, bring it up over and over if you want. If you're concerned about me doubling down, watch me triple and quadruple down. I'm not going to be making that joke on here again, I can guarantee you that, but I'm also not close to feeling like taking it back, either. Not sure what you're attempting to accomplish here, but hopefully you feel satisfied with our exchange, and if you aren't feel free to make some more comments I can respond to about it, either now or another time. |

"Us against the world!" Which I absolutely feel like the Texas players embrace. Doesn't matter. The players still have to execute on the court, and so much of the narrative is made in retrospect. Whoever wins gets a litany of rationalizations which may or may not have any merit as to why they came out on top, whereas the losers are levied with a number of accusations as to why they weren't able to get over the hump. It's the way it is in every sport. |

Frohling is an opposite. So Eggleston = Lukes (depends on the night...typically edge to Eggleston) Skinner > Edwards Phillips < Frohling O’Neal < Blackwell Caffey +/- Stoner SKT < Blossom Fleck > Benbow Akana = Allen I’m also not convinced right now I’d take Skinner over Edwards. Agree with that. At best it's a push from what I've seen this year. I just don't think Skinner is feeling confident with the setting this year. |

I just don't think Skinner is feeling confident with the setting this year. She's averaging 3.62 k/s, hitting .299. I'd say it's hit and miss. Her numbers are very good. But without a doubt some matches she looks unstoppable and others not so much. |
