Well, 1-2 getting to swing against Blossom and Texas passing great / USD passing not, it's not like they're playing in similar circumstances. It's still an edge to Texas - for sure though. That should’ve been considered when talking about the matchups then, none of what’s happening is surprising or out of the blue💀 It literally was, though. Everyone knew USD's passing was worse and Blossom was more likely to get exploited on the block. Both of those were discussed. I did see some 'player-to-player' comparisons and that's not always a great way to judge a match given volleyball is a 6-on-6 sport and two players being compared can even both go stretches without a touch. |

love my san diego girls but our level of play looked the same throughout all 4 sets. looked nervous and out of sorts too often. texas really turned things around after that first set. they deserved to win. hoping eggleston gets her natty

San Diego just couldn't play the transition game they needed to overcome their passing deficiencies. Credit to the Texas defense putting Saige in a good position to make them pay with her available hitters, particularly Skinner who had herself a night. Gotta expect Logan will bounce back in the NC match.
