All I ask from Molly Thee Surgeon is to put up a big block (impressed with her and Bella last weekend), give us 2.4 kills per set, not make any untimely errors, and keep blocks honest. And if sh!t is hitting the fan in that one rotation, channel her inner YBG and put the ball down from the left. That’s it. Is that too much? Not for Molly it’s not! Girlfriend is hitting *.395* for the year. 👸 |

Girlfriend is hitting *.395* for the year. 👸 There was a spell vs Ohio St where it felt like Molly couldn’t put the ball down and it seemed like SKT had just avoided her. She ended up hitting over 300 but only on 12 attempts. She needs to be closer to 20 or high teens and hitting over 300 so Logan and Madi are not taking 68% of the swings. |

Just keep on believing there is some emotional source that is allowing San Diego to play at a higher level and ignore that they are a talented, confident, and well coached team. If you would like to see a team play with controlled anger, I suggest TX v. Marquette set 4 (-17), TX v. TOSU set 3 (-13) and TX v. Iowa State (-12). That's our girls coming back and being pissed they lost the previous set. Logan and Asjia both have had that ‘look me in the eye we aren’t going to lose’ look all tournament. Reminds me of fifth year Inky and the Inkettes. I’m not worried about any team playing with any more controlled anger then we do. |

She was chucking up some ugly balls to the left that I think she would have distributed better usually. Molly and Caffey suffered for it, imo. So did Madi because she was was getting the brunt of the trash and completely lost confidence. |

And rather than playing the whole next set "angry", I would say they started playing with their typical focus and concentration on details which they appear to lose in those previous sets. If a team actually plays "angry", typically there's a good chance that will play poorly because it detracts from the proper focus and concentration. |

Blossom just has this confidence that’s pretty unreal. If she messes up a set, you know she’s not going to mess up the next one. SKT…not so much, but she really just needs to be steady for them to succeed. |
