Salima has had a nice little vacation. Bring her in to do the broadcast with Sundy yes. let’s get salima and since lauren plum was on staff with her at ND, she’ll get me to be the other commentator. absolutely!

When Salima did LHN without Paul, she had a tendency to get a bit PC or kinda quiet. Paul could always get her fired up.

It's a lot harder to serve Egglestone it seems, because Fleck and Akana are too aggressive. I think there's only one rotation where Logan is somewhat vulnerable to being served. You can take advantage of Akana's aggressiveness because she sometimes tries to do too much, I think that will be SD's game plan. Same with Skinner. It’s actually Fleck and Halter that push Eggleston out of the service pattern and are aggressive, Akana is pretty moderate with her aggressiveness It’s actually by design in at least two rotations when she’s in zone 1 or 5. Logan is the SR bait and she steps aside after serve. It’s on purpose.

lyles yelling can be annoying but I surely don’t think they are mute worthy It's McPeak that bothers me more. To me she is unemotional which I don't like in the person doing the color commentary. Plus Lyle does yell too much. Not every point is a 5th set match point. Like ZERO emotion. Dead inside-level.

I like Missy a lot better than Lyle. Lyle.... blah. I prefer Katie George to her.
McPeak is interesting. I feel like she can be kind of condescending but at least she genuine at the same time. I liked how she was visibly kind of bothered during the selection show with the committee's answers/justifications.

I'm sad Paul won't be doing it :/
I don't get it. He and Missy were the obvious choice to me

Has Paul called any matches outside the state of California this season? I know he called some (remotely) while not actually in attendance. He mentioned yesterday that he had to fly to the ESPN studios in Bristol, CT (not sure for what) after the Stanford match (I'm assuming Sunday), and seemed bothered by it.
