How the heck did TX lose to Iowa St? I'm thinking it was staged. Destiny. In 2012 in the last Big 12 game of the year, Texas lost to Iowa St. JE said it was a kick in the pants they needed just before the start of the tournament. Thanks to our pesky Iowa St frienemy for giving us the wakeup call this year. |

Nicole Fawcett was the best OH in NCAA History? Let the hyperbole flow, brah. She hit like .330 across her entire career. Not sure why that's ridiculous esp since I said "probably" meaning it's up for debate. Relax. She was great. Great game Louisville but for Texas to have the entire arena rooting against them and still pull out the sweep in dominating fashion goes to show that nobody was going to beat this team tonight.

I do love that the R2 wasn't taking absolutely any talk from these coaches (and it seemed like he was right every single time)

It's interesting that the non-players get their mini-trophy as well. I see long time trainer Donnie Maib with one. What you non-Texas fans might not know is that the volunteer assistant coach third from the left on the front row was a very last minute addition. There was this......errrrrr.....assistant-coach-volunteer-assistant-coach-David-Hunt-Jordan-Larson-I-don't-want-to-talk-about-it-situation where we suddenly needed an volunteer assistant coach. So at the last minute they got Jessica Brannan to join.
Now, she has actually won a volleyball championship at Long Beach State. But to just step in at the last minute and be down on the floor at the end of the year with all the confetti has just got to be mind blowing.
