This part snuck past the editor: "In this installment, Nuneviller visits with two players who competed against each other in the NCAA title match, Logan Eggleston of Texas, the VolleyballMag.com national player of the year, and VBM All-America Madi Kubik of Nebraska."

The 17:05 mark. Oh man, triggered, lol. Brooke is talking about how they now practice so many shots, like Logan's "power tip" now that she's in the pros. Honestly, that whole thing was really good. One of the big differences between this one and Brooke's other ones is that she only had two people rather than three, AND both players were new to professional volleyball, whereas she's been talking to other players who are primarily veterans. While these have been entertaining for me, I feel like one of the best audiences for these are girls who aspire to play professionally themselves, whether they're much younger players or they're seniors at university about to embark on it next year. I remember watching a long interview with Micaya her first year when she was in France, and one of the things she talked about was the lack of support compared to how it was in her career previously. As a professional, she's expected to take care of things that the program she was in used to do a lot of. I felt like both Logan and Madi were such good guests, but Brooke really shines. She has a gift in this format. This was my favorite one by far. Not only because Logan was in it, but just the whole thing felt great, with the three girls all kind of experiencing a lot of the same challenges just getting out of college and on with their professional life.

It’s understandable, but the abject failure of the student commentator to pronounce Kahahawai was pretty hilarious

This has been surprisingly competitive considering TCU is the #1 team on the country

Looks like experience won out for the starting roles. The starter scrimmage team looked like:
OHs: Madi/Jenna Middles: Bella/Asjia OPP: Molly Setter: Swindle Libero: Keonilei DS: Emma
So that’s 3 5th year seniors, two 4th year juniors, one third year junior, a sophomore, and a freshman.
Sure is a big blonde front line when Jenna, Bella, and Molly are all front together

Not much defense from Texas early in this.
Halter looking very steady in serve receive.

The fact that Texas has tied at 17 is a good sign.
