Who would we rather see: Stanford v ASU
Is it crazy that I kind of want Stanford? I want a repeat of the 2016 tourney match with Nebraska where we were swept early in the season and came back and swept Nebraska in Omaha during the tourney

Swindle has really improved and she is connecting great with her middles and pins right now. Tempo is even there too. I think you all have a pretty good shot at getting to final four. Things are looking real clean 👌.

Things are looking real clean 👌. I’m more confident in the girls now than I was going into to the tournament, the problem is the slow starts . If we come out passing well so Swindle can spread the ball around early I think we’ll be good |

All conference season long we played so much better on the second day/night of a 2-match series. I am glad that happened in the post-season, too. For SMU, they had not lost a set since October, I believe. I felt that if we could win the first set, the doubts would set in for SMU. Very solid match tonight. Hoping this good mojo carries on tomorrow in Arlington for football and Sunday when women's hoops hosts UConn!What an incredible sports weekend for the Longhorns! All 3 teams took care of business this weekend!  |

Honestly ever since Swindle stopped jump setting, she has looked really good. Idk if the boot is causing her to not jump set or if it was a coaching decision but man she looks really good with setting with her foot staying on the floor.

I think her remaining on her feet helps with her special awareness, the only small problem with this is her dumps are going to become even more predictable. If she’s not jump setting, when she jumps up to dump, it will give more hints to other teams. (Luckily she’s 6’7 so she doesn’t have to try too hard get up) But clearly the main goal is to clean up the sets a little so dumping is on the back burner |

I was looking through the NCAA stats because I don't want to go grocery shopping and saw some fun things re: the Stanford regional.
1. Based on hitting percentage and opponent hitting percentage, Texas may be the best defensive team in this region and the worst offensive team. How many times has that happened?
2. Texas is currently 15th in team hitting percentage. Considering how tragic this was at the beginning of the year, I'd say that's pretty good!
3. This region is full of superstars! Marta Levinska, Madi Skinner, Kendall Kipp, and Morgahn Fingall are in the top 20 for points per set. Including A&M and SMU, Texas is going against some really strong opposites this tournament. Good thing Madi and Asjia are a great blocking duo!
Overall, I think Texas matches up well with the teams in this region. If they take care of business on their side of the net, hopefully we see the horns come out on top. 🤘
