I know some only want volleyball discussed here but Arizona plays Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl later this month😈 I *will* be expecting everyone to cheer us on and provide their unwavering support for my Wildcats against them! Cal plays Texas Tech in Independence Bowl 🤝 (sidenote its in Shreveport LA so apparently some things DO happen there) |

I unwaveringly root against Oklahoma in football. I’ll root against them when they play A&M, although if they beat the Aggies 77-0 again I’ll laugh until I cry. |

So, all Big 12 teams except Texas bowed out of the tournament prior to the round of 16. So, no chance we face another Big 12 team this season. See ya! It's been real. We dive into SEC "conference" play on Thursday against Tennessee!  |

the tennessee block proved difficult for the wku left pin. i think Texas will find success going to The Surgeon on the right. get some 1v1s for molly Both Tennessee OHs are undersized - IIRC one is 6'0' and the other is 5'11" - Expect Molly to go OTT. Fingall is also not particularly tall (6'1") so the same goes for Madi too. I'm expecting a lot of attacks to Zone 1, which will force either the setter or Fingall to dig, both of which are good results IMO They have a very good middle in Granberry |

We dive into SEC "conference" play on Thursday against Tennessee! I was disappointed to see BYU and KU bow out as subregional hosts. On the other hand, it was great to see UH take Stanford to 5. I had no desire to play UH in football at their stadium, but it was kind of fun to compete with BYU and UH for one season. Especially going 4-0 and winning the conference going away in our Thanks For All The Fish goodbye tour. I plan on some kind of write up about the matchup, but one of the things I’d note is that Tennessee will be the second toughest opponent we’ve faced this season based on overall results. I felt like SMU was the team’s most complete match of the season, so that was nice to see, but Tennessee’s talent is on an order of magnitude higher than the Mustangs. I think it’s mildly interesting we’ll be facing Jenaisya Moore again after seeing her in 3 matches last year, including the Elite Eight, while she was with the Buckeyes. Also, as someone who really enjoyed watching that Ohio State team last year and really wanted to see what they could do with another year, it makes me a little wistful to see Oregon, Penn State, and Tennessee still in the tournament, although Minnesota’s season with Murr wasn’t nearly as successful as the others. |

Sometimes she’ll get some swings on the left later in the match in the rotation you’re referring to. But she’s invariably practically non existent on the right I love the idea of O’Neal getting 26 swings again, though. |
