I honestly didn’t know how we were going to do this with our pins compared to Stanford’s pins. Our middles are better, I’ll put Skinner against literally anyone, but I was worried about our other two. But Jenna and Molly took care of business when given the ball She played smart tonight - really got herself back in transition and avoided low seam. She might not have gotten kills on swings, but she kept the ball in play and let our defense set up |

Congrats Texas fans! It's been fun cheering alongside you all Girl, you don't have to stop! We're still dancing! I'm overall rooting for the Huskers to win it all. But I will definitely cheer on these Longhorns as well! |

Wow. Really stunned at the result. I had Texas losing in 4. I guess the game I watched in Austin jaded me about their ability to match up against the Cardinal.
So, it was very obvious that Jenna got some coaching recently. Like A. LOT. of coaching about various options when attacking. "See those arms sticking up in front of you? Tip baby!"
What I found frustrating was the lack of adjust on the tips. Well, okay they got better near the end. But when you're block is shutting them down, well duh they're going to tip!
Oh well, a 3-1 win doesn't care about lack of tip coverage.
Congrats Ladies and Coaches. You did a fine job.

Oh quick question. It finally dawned on me watching the Regional finals being played out that.....wait, there's no blue "this is a neutral" court cover on the hosting floor. In fact, my daughter has been binge watching volleyball these last few days and all the Regionals are using their "native" court. Not the blue/gray mandated floors of the past.
What gives?
