AA teams are chosen from the regional lists, so there was no way for Emma or Bella to be included Which I literally mentioned in my comment. Oh then I misunderstood what you meant by Halter remaining unnoticed

Did anyone figure out what Hambly's defensive adjustment (changing the rotation for Game 2) was trying to accomplish? It looks to me like he kept (almost?) the same rotation for Game 3, while JE countered with a change of his own in hopes of returning to the Game 1 matchups? Then in Game 4 both coaches changed the rotation, resulting in roughly the same matchups as Game 1 and Game 3?
From looking at those moves, what matchups do we expect the coaches to want in our semi-final?
Edit: in Game 2 Madi had 4 kills and three errors, so she only hit 1 / [number of swings]. None of those hitting errors had a block connected to them, though. Seeing as Madi had only three errors total across the three games with matchups roughly the same in those three games, Hambly's move looks successful, though it could have been coincidence. JE won the chess match of starting alignment the next three games, though.

I really hope Texas annihilates Wisconsin only because of how smug some of the fans are right now. It feels like such a long shot just with their size alone plus the numerous weapons they have. But I had similar thoughts about our chances before the Stanford match (and Tennessee a little tbh). How crazy would it be if we pulled it off? Smug? I think some in the Texas fanbase that can easily apply to as well . Ya know how everything is always bigger in Texas mentality?.. well it shines through. I've said this before but it is important for context in all things. Wisconsin was defeated on our own home court against Pittsburgh to end the 2022 season and this year we were able to achieve victory as one of the final four teams AND were able to celebrate the victory within context. The way the Texas players were shrieking about and hooting and hollering on their 'opponents' home floor to gain entry into the Final Four no doubt goes beyond what one would imagine. Celebrating is one thing but acting like a program that has been to what 17 of the last 18 straight Final Fours.

I’m not gonna take the bait, let’s just all agree we don’t get to decide what appropriate celebrations look like lol You make it to a final four, celebrate however you like.

I may do that but its hard to chill when I can still hear the incessant shrieking, hooting, and hollering from the Horn girls W over Stanford still. I encourage you to watch and compare Texas compared to the other teams in regards to their Final Four clinching celebration thresholds. It is excessive but that's what you get when you're told EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas every day.
