I may do that but its hard to chill when I can still hear the incessant shrieking, hooting, and hollering from the Horn girls W over Stanford still. I encourage you to watch and compare Texas compared to the other teams in regards to their Final Four clinching celebration thresholds. It is excessive but that's what you get when you're told EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas every day.
literally everyone on this site didn't think they were going to win (much like everyone on this site is doing now with tomorrow's match lol). they were the underdog, playing on the road, having played the hardest path. to come on this site and rave about something so incredibly subjective...seriously. this team is not like last year's team, there was no guarantee they would even make it to the elite 8 match, much less the final four. i've watched this team for the better part of 20 years and this year's "celebration" that you refer to looks no different than previous years so i'm not sure what the issue is. |

Truly over the top with their celebrations. |

Texas has the most talented volleyball team in the country. And on this current run all of that talent is playing at the top of the charts. Y'alls fanbase were probably more skeptical then many casual volleyball followers of a Final Four appearance. The Tennessee game opened up a new dynamic with this years team from my perspective. In fact since this upcoming game will be in Tampa and Texas will likely have a sizeable cheering advantage its not really out of order to suggest Texas shouldn't be a favorite in this matchup. I have seen comments from some Longhorn fans suggesting would love a beatdown on Wisconsins team due to 'arrogant' Wisconsin fans, etc. but this result shouldn't be a big surprise due to the high level talent Texas has and with the high level of play to match. |
