I believe this would be the perfect opportunity for Kelli Miller Philips if she wanted to move up. From the Shondell/Muncie tree (likes of Skinner, Sheffield), played in the B1G and beat Michigan in the NCAaA tournament last season. There's already been a fair bit of discussion about her in this thread. Didn’t think I was bringing someone new to the table, just sharing my opinion, but thanks

J Reyes C George M Alvey A Knipe K Gandara C Johnson Lynch A Mansfield Cathy George? Why would Michigan hire the coach who “retired” from the in state rival and it was in worse shape than Michigan at the end? (Last 4 years of her tenure 9,9, 12, 11 in B1G) Even though she technically "retired", I think she's still got some tread on those tires and did not go out on her own timeline. I believe there is really no substitute for real Big Ten experience. Just think how great it could be for the Wolverines if Cathy came back and beat Michigan State a few times, and also finished highest then them in the standings.

Your list doesn’t reflect much of that. Is that really Alan Knipe on your list?

If George returns I wouldn’t think it is for this job. Knipe seems firmly ensconced in men’s game.

Orlando might be a good place to find a successful coach with big ten experience.

Orlando might be a good place to find a successful coach with big ten experience. Didn't realize he had spent time at Michigan State (and actually 3 at USC). Might be a good time to jump with the ride on the Melville train concluded.

Leanne Williamson?? She's been at USD for a bit...maybe she's ready to make a move. Looks like, at least as of two hours ago, Williamson is still planning to be at SoDak for next year.

Genuine question because people on here have mentioned his name: do people believe Jaylen is head coach material? I agree excellent recruiter, great assistant. Is he a head coach? I don’t know him personally but can he make those calls that run a program? Is he mature enough yet? Do sideline antics=head coach
Or is it Nebraska has been success so people believe he’ll be a good head coach? What does be bring that makes you think he is?
Sorry if this is the wrong place but I know he’s been mentioned

(i just wanted to make fun of Fischer and Collier) ill see my way out Hahaha I get that. But honestly, if someone isn’t doing well in class, there is drama between teammates, someone is second guessing training can he handle that? My read is he likes to be the lovable assistant… can that translate as a head coach? It feels as everyone throws him out bec he’s the “Next” Nebraska assistant in line to get a head coach job. Just wondering if it’ll translate

Reyes as a head coach feels a bit like giving a toddler a puppy.
