When timev allows please update the former PAC 12 teams into their new conferences. Thanks.

Thanks for the assist, ted! We'll go with it as our de facto 2024 conference thread for now.

This thread should be pinned.

I just need to participate so I can find this thread.
How do you guys make all those fancy OPs with the pics and the links, is there a template?

*In case you didn't already know the following option: Another (more durable) way to find this thread is to "bookmark" it. That would last as long as you care to have it bookmarked, whereas the participated list will eventually bounce it once you participate in enough other threads more recently.
Your question about the fancy OPs: We effectively do have our own templates that can be reused once we make one fancy OP by copying the code from the BBCode tab at the bottom of the post. And that copied code can get pasted into VT's private message space in a message addressed to one's self where it can be edited and saved and worked on until it's ready for you to create a public thread with it. I use that message space for editing OPs now all the time.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I usually reuse some amount of code from my previous match threads when making a new one and how much code depends mostly on whether I've made one for that team already that season. If I've already made one for a team, reusing a template with their lineup and external links in it saves a bunch of time the next time I make one for that team. My Illinois match threads share much of the same code within a given season but using different logos, matching the text colors, and updating the lineup predictions each match helps keep them fresh-ish (at least for me, lol). The first time I make a match thread for a team in a season, I'll usually start with a template from any other match thread I've already made, and delete all the previous content while retaining the underlying structure and formatting. That's usually as close as I get to starting from scratch.
And our cadre of regular match thread-makers (active and past) are super helpful with teaching tips and tricks on how to do everything from the basic elements to the snazzier flourishes. Everyone's pretty generous with sharing their knowledge. If you'd like to learn more, hit me up sometime or the other folks listed on this recent post are also great resources. Apologies if that's a much longer-winded response than you were looking for : )
EDIT: Oops, I kinda forgot we were on the team thread links thread while responding to your question and you may have been asking specifically about the fancy OPs in the team/conference threads (and not match threads)! The same principles apply, if not all the rambling, match thread-specific minutiae.

I'm experimenting with some formatting changes in the OP (and title) of this thread to incorporate the PVF league thread and individual team threads. Might revert back to the original style once the PVF season ends or if there's a massive chorus of objections : )
