Can CAL POLY win the Big West Championship with their current roster???
Almost all the other ten teams have secured their players so there is little mystery about the competition's strength!

I don’t they can. Unless their OHs learn how to pass, they will have trouble winning matches. Losing a ton of offensive production in Maia.

There are two many holes from the 2022 team that need to be brought up to a higher level of play. And, of course, the loss of Maia will be felt big time.

Jake, all the top BW teams lost key starters except for Hawaii. Cal Poly is no different than LBSU or UCSB and better off than UCI based on what they lost. Trying to fill holes is what most volleyball programs endure every year except for the talent rich top 10 or so programs that are two or three deep at key positions. Stop being so doom and gloom. Cal Poly will be rebuilding next year but probably better than you think.

So many schools are dipping into the TP to fill holes in their lineup quickly. If, CAL POLY and other BWC schools ignore the experience level of players available to them,...well, they will only be wasting another season of competition. It's a slippery slope for sure!

No OH, and passing is suspect from the DS/libero type crew.

No OH, and passing is suspect from the DS/libero type crew. The coach redshirted a lot of players the last few years so hopefully some of them will step up and surprise. That is an advantage Poly has as they know the system and expectations were transfers, especially one year transfers, have very little time to fit in.
