I was actually thinking the opposite, cause I’ve never heard of some of these posters. Pouring one out for my buddy madden55 . We could have had it all babes. yea not too come off as too salty bc it’s just a website but it’s definitely a bit annoying that I didn’t make even a nomination list…. Considering the podcast and how many different leagues and parts of the sport I watch and post about but oh wellllll An individual with 1234567 in their name got a nomination  |

i dont see why Im getting brought into this. everyone was more than welcome to nominate themselves or someone else in the nomination thread there was no one stopping you from voting for yourself or someone else as many times as your heart pleased. There were over 65 people voted for. VT only allows 50 people in a poll thing. is why we can't have nice things. LOL |

FWIW, I don't vote in these things, and don't expect to receive votes (and don't care if I do or don't). If I wanted to be "popular", I'd have started that campaign a decade ago. However, at the time I made that post, the fact that vballfan17 was sitting in like 10th place with only 1/3 of voters giving him a vote, IMO just kind of shows how ridiculous this is. This *should* be about contributions to the forum, right? Admin of RPI Futures, VT Poll, VT Fantasy, VT All Americans, VT POW, VT PTW, VT Survival League. I mean, come on.... |

It absolutely should be about contributions to the board. But it is no different than any award that's voted on. Some people get it based on merit (which everyone interprets differently), and some get it based on reputation/popularity. baytree only has 16 votes, and they made about a quarter of the season's match threads.
