Supposedly Geraldine Gonzales is going to Brazil. It's a miss for PVF to not snatch her or even Eve. I wonder if anyone has tried to contact Bricio I'm sure shots have been taken. Some players are as skeptical as volleyguy, and some are watching how LOVB shakes out. That last one I find interesting since the standard PVF contract this year is just for 2024. |

Why? Is she going to miss coaching spring season for Nebraska and recruiting? Pre-Olympic training I imagine. Competition before going back to the USA gym. |

I’m not sure if you understand my version of skeptical. I think overall, PVF has over-performed my expectations. But, I think they’ve done it in spite of themselves. Their marketing sucks. Their understanding of volleyball, in particular Pro/International volleyball, sucks. Their success is mostly because they are in the right place at the right time. My biggest concern about them is whether they really understand how to build value in the league. LOVB is a different story. They are a product of the venture capital era, and that era is about to end. |
