It is a good question. I'm wondering if it comes down to that Logan Tom paradox.... which I still don't completely understand. Not a talent or work ethic problem.... but a personality that doesn't seem to gel well with coaches and players? I have no idea. I'm not trying to start any rumors. But lets not pretend that player selections are solely based on skill and talent. maybe if you'd have a group of players that played together before, but that's so limited with Carlini. I think its more coaches/management want to envision a certain type of thing..... (and well that won't pan out).... Barbolini had his best recent success with Carlini.... so he goes and gets Grandma. Egonu has been tragic (minus 2018 and some of the VNL) with Orro... yet guess who Monza is keeping. is it politics? is it agent politics? is it bad luck? idk. mess. I don't think it's politics per se. Coaches have had many opportunities to see her in action and are familiar with her results. I've never heard any specific criticism off her personality or personal behavior that would lead to her being labelled as difficult. Logan was viewed as enigmatic and a little stand-offish and she had her personal issues, but coaches knew that she delivered and those things rarely made a difference in teams wanting to sign her.

True.... But I would say this came into play when Karch decided to not even allow her back into the gym after 2012.

Karch used Logan as a scapegoat for his idea of team "culture". Foreign players are viewed as basically hired guns.

Italy is a bit more talented and even all round and turkey is very top heavy meaning they have like 4 or 5 good teams and everyone else is horrible. Minus imocco damn near any team outside of relegation can beat one another in Italy

Thank you! like those 2 said the top of turkey is better than the top of Italy but Italy is more competitive overall. Think of it like Italy as the pac 12 Turkey as the B1G although after the top 5 in turkey it drops a bit lower than the top 5 in the big ten. But I think itās a good comparison.

Imagine a league where you don't even know who you're playing with week to week, and you can win a match even if you lose more sets than the other team. And you may get set by legends Nootsara Tomkom or Alisha Glass-Childress!

Is Anthi going to THY as an opposite or outside hitter?
I don't hate Carlini going back to THY or Fenerbahce personally. I'd like to see her set Arina. Also isn't Terzic going somewhere else after this season is over?

Thinking out loud here, but if Carlini does go to THY, and they get a good local OPP (maybe Alexia), this could be a fun team.
OH: Bergmann, Anthi OPP: Alexia MB: two domestic MBs (I think Dicle and Zeynep? I honestly didn't really pay attention to who has been playing MB for them this season) S: Carlini L: domestic libero
If Ze wants Diana to play, he could always exchange one of the OHs for Seyma.

Having two 6ā 5ā outsides on one team is kinda nuts
