They typically use ESPN+ but last year there were some matches they didn’t stream. Pretty unacceptable IMO.

I believe it’s just bad website management, but do they not realize how this impacts viewing? They end up excluded from the streaming directories. Come on, do better!

Just to close the loop. Match on ESPN+ tonight. Looks like the SID just got delayed including the link on the website’s schedule. All good. It’s pretty busy time of year for those SIDs.

Let’s not forget that MVB is a sport that gets pushed off in spring. Not every school gets their own sports info person for MVB. In fact … most of them who have MVB are with 4-5 other sports. Not uncommon, unfortunately.
As for stream - it isn’t just magic flick of the wrist with fairy dust. Some schools cheap out on video stream departments unfortunately. And then for the games that aren’t streamed, sometimes, the school is locked into a crappy broadcast right situation that doesn’t even allow a damn Facebook stream. Super depressing lol.

Hopefully Vinnie Lopes can make a call and get Ball State on the ball. Harvard ESPN+ broadcast was excellent!

I agree on the stretched resources, but not buying that at Ball St. The campus is absolutely beautiful in large part from $$ given by David Letterman and there is a $20M state-of-the-art David Letterman Communication and Media Building that houses one of the better programs in the country. I have to think some sort of collaboration can be done with one of their top colleges within the University to put on a top-notch broadcast for one of their most successful varsity sports.
