I'm assuming she played in club and high school. Does she get a new 4 years of eligibility? No, she does not get 4 more years. Once your clock starts you get 5 years to play NCAA sports (but there was a waiver for COVID semesters, basically +1 year)

Went to the scrimmage this last Saturday and finally remembered to write up my thoughts for anyone who couldn't attend. This match wasn't that close. Louisville was better in all areas and cruised to a 15,16,16 sweep. OSU couldn't pass and the setters were on the run for the whole match. Mia Tuman played the first 2 sets and looks to be the favorite to start over Sarah White. I think part of the reason Tuman might start is that she has quicker acceleration and gets under more shanked passes to actually take with her hands. Londot continues to play outside this spring with Thorpe at OPP and guest player (Gabby Gonzales this time) as the other outside. Morbitzer is the only healthy DS available on Saturday that I expect to play and she was not good on Saturday. She was in good position to dig balls, but was not executing and keeping them in play on OSU's side of the net. McCann played as the other DS, but I don't expect her to get any playing time in a competitive game. My little bit of thoughts on Louisville was that Charitie Luper was the best player on Saturday. Her serve opened up big leads in all 3 sets and she seemed to come up with a big kill every time OSU tried to make a run. I also didn't notice OSU taking advantage of her smaller size while in the front row. Sarah White is transferring. She must believe Tuman will start too.

Interesting to see how this works out. She has been training at 1st Alliance for a few months now and is a very talented athlete.

This will most likely be a season full of growing pains but I believe the program is in good shape for the long run. Just really hope we can send Londot out on a high note, she deserves it.

The Carlston recruits, including Rader and Londot, have carried Oldenburg through the first few seasons. Hopefully some of the Oldenburg recruits are finally ready to step up, since the fifth year seniors were not only shown the door, but in several instances gifted to a conference opponent in order to make room for even more Oldenberg recruits that have never played. I don't say that to be rude either. The three seniors including Morbitzer are the only returning players that even played at all last year, aside from Sydney Taylor who only appeared in 16 sets. ohiostatebuckeyes.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/WVB-Season-3.pdfWe have no idea what they have behind the Carlston recruits, but we are about to find out.

What would be considered a high note? I’ve been actually thinking about this ever since I wrote it and I quite honestly don’t even know. Too much unknowns right now to put a clear objective for the season but I hope we can make the tournament at least.

At least that’s what the graphic on Ohio State’s volleyball twitter page says. A 6’3 MB

Hey Buckeye fans! Looks like you're playing in a tournament at Northern Kentucky in the first week of preseason, along with Bowling Green and Eastern Tennessee State. Bowling Green released their full schedule and here are the three matches they've listed for that weekend: Friday, August 25 - Bowling Green vs. ETSU Saturday, August 26 - Bowling Green vs. Ohio StateSunday, August 27 - Bowling Green at Northern Kentucky

Northern Kentucky is of course located in suburban Cincinnati, so a rather achievable road trip for most Ohioans.

Who are Ohio St.'s 2024 commits? What will the Buckeyes' position priorities be for the 2025 class? Any idea what 2025 players might be on their recruiting radar?
