really pulling for Omaha or South Dakota! That would probably be the best final match, as was mentioned earlier. It would be the third-consecutive Mavs-Yotes championship match, and the sixth consecutive championship with at least one of those teams in the final. In terms of fans, obviously the Yotes will fill the arena, but the Mavs and Jacks have shown up for big matches in the past in Vermillion to some degree. I think the Jacks have a good shot to upset the Pios. A Mavs-Jacks semifinal could be surprisingly well-attended and rowdy. the Yotes fans would probably root for Omaha in that one.

Wow. Did not expect the Bison to upset USD. They split the first four sets, with NDSU winning two deuce sets and South Dakota winning the other two rather handily. Then NDSU dominated the 5th set by a score of 15-7. I expect kiyoat will have a detailed match recap at some point.

After the 3rd set, it appeared that South Dakota was going to walk into the semi finals. During the match for South Dakota, Madisson Harms broke the all-time blocks record for the Summit League.

Tough loss, but this year, any of the top four teams plus ND State had a realistic chance of winning it. I wouldn't be surprised if Omaha and Kansas City both lose tomorrow.

Think this a total coin-toss.
I wouldn't bet on any team to win/lose.

I got back from the match late, so I haven’t had a chance to look at any stats. From my perspective it looked like when the Bison were winning sets, they were playing very efficient, clean, low-error volleyball. Really good passing combined with a veteran setter makes for a tough opponent. Their middle was deadly. I thought the Yotes’s blocking and serve-receive was below their recent standard, too.
I just felt like the Bison were more hungry in that match.

Just an FYI for anyone wanting to watch these matches... The Summit League Network is making them free-access streams. Midco Sports Plus (SLN): link

Are the Live Stats working? I've tried the link in the Conference Tournament thread and also on the Omaha volleyball webpage and the stats page doesn't load on my computer.
Edit: I was able to get there through the South Dakota volleyball website.

Link is requiring people to pay to access -just fyi Sorry about that! Not sure why. The first round games were free. I have a subscription, but my daughter was able to pull up the game without signing in on her phone, as we drove to the game.
