Science and Nature are like the Superbowl of scientific journals. To get a paper published in either one is extremely prestigious. Holy hell Holiday. Fox news was caught in a blatant lie (sound familiar). Why are you incapable of admitting it happened?? You know it happened, you know it's wrong, you understand this, why are you so afraid to acknowledge it.

l.smartnews.com/7Gbiy/EJdRgYAmong the key comments revealed by Dominion Voting Systems in their court filing Monday was the revelation that News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch and Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott discussed whether or not they should dispel some of the lies about the 2020 election on Jan. 5, 2021.

Fox definitely showed they had feet of clay when it came to the reporting of election results and the aftermath in the days/weeks that followed. A fear of a loss of viewership, lead them to make decisions that go against truthful reporting. That is no different than most of their competitors. The difference being, they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. what's sad is Fox had really good election night reporting and forecasting......so of course they fired a quality election reporting crew, smh Yeah, the higher-ups are ridiculous. I feel like Fox has had the better election night coverage for the last few elections. I knew that Arizona more than likely went to Biden because Fox called it first. Dumbest part is that they wouldn’t lose a significant amount of viewers by telling the truth, because those viewers aren’t going anywhere. imo

Yep, whether that was actually a legitimate fear or not is debatable. But like I said earlier in this thread, they had feet of clay and blinked when they should have done the right thing.

FOX's ratings dropped hard after the made the Arizona call, and only started bouncing back when they started blasting out the election conspiracy theory. Right here on Volleytalk, Holiday said "FOX forgot who they were and started turning into MSNBC" -- i.e. they told the truth. As soon as they saw what that meant for losing their audience of Holidays, they reversed that course right away.

FOX created this audience of Holidays by telling them that everything they believe is true, that everything they don't believe is false, that they should be ENGRAGED! about anyone who tries to tell them differently. Then found that they have to keep feeding their audience with the same red meat as always, because otherwise the audience is primed to get ENRAGED! about FOX itself.

In fact, from Election Day through Biden’s inauguration, Fox not only didn’t finish on top — it also finished behind both CNN and MSNBC in total viewers." It could not have happened to a more deserving network.

OAN and Newsmax both settled with Dominion right? I remember they had to read an on-air apology. Even so, their base has largely forgotten about it and they don't have to go through the embarrassment of discovery.
