Addy Horner, a 6-3 setter from Wheaton, Illinois. Another huge pick up by the Badgers. Super versatile player similar in size to Campbell Flynn that can set, block and has heavy arm. Really impressive 3 commits with a lot of length and versatility in this class.

The 2025 recruiting class for the Badgers, now, has three girls of high status and all from states in the Big Ten footprint. The competition in the conference keeps pushing forward and such.

The current run of 2025 recruits sure has been a masterful job by Coach Sheffield. I must admit that I'm getting a little greedy and would now like to see him grab a prized recruit from Gopher country. Go Badgers.

Isn’t this entire 25 page thread dealing with the ‘25 class? Yes, who are all talented for their age groups. Why say the class isn’t strong in the middle position, or do you mean it’s not deep in the middle position? Because talent develops… I mean it’s far below what has been available the past several years. Ask the college coaches. Look at the middles Wisconsin has brought in over the years. Thus is not personal. I’m not mentioning names. If a team needs a middle, good luck.

Yea I just read what you said initially as depth in middles vs strength of the top middles and I have no issue, I was being reactionary and that’s on me. I do think that a lot of younger middles can improve, for example I remember Carter Booth looking not good at all initially but ended up much improved throughout her freshman year so maybe it’ll just be up to the lower ranked middles to have glow ups and eventually round out the strength of this class overall.

Booth was on a USA national team when she was 13 or 14, so she must have been good then.

Such racism.... how is this post allowed to stay on the board? Please edit post or it will be reported to proboards Just by definition you can't be racist about the race that has the power. Racism involves one group having the power to carry out systematic discrimination through the institutional policies and practices of the society and by shaping the cultural beliefs and values that support those racist policies and practices. As a Caucasian myself, anyone can be racially prejudiced against white folks, but it's by definition not racist. That is simply not true.

This sounds like a great topic for Off the Net and not the recruiting thread. I agree that discussion doesn't belong here, but it is here, it was actually volleyball related and I wasn't going to leave that hanging there, unchallenged.
