It’s the literal truth, just because you don’t like it, doesn’t change a fact. Yall are scary af Ok look, for the sake of ending this and not derailing the thread further. It’s obvious some of you have a poor grasp of understanding basic racial relations/history in this country. That’s fine, not for anyone in Volleytalk to change your minds. Keep being the way you are if that’s what makes you happy. Ignorance is bliss and what not

It’s the literal truth, just because you don’t like it, doesn’t change a fact. Yall are scary af Depends on which definition of racism you use. The Webster dictionary says racism is a belief that some races have superior abilities to others. The Oxford dictionary says racism is the belief the non white races are inferior. IMO that the Oxford definition was written by Oxford grads that considered themselves superior to others, an elite subgroup of white Englishman. IMO judging others by their race or ethnicity is wrong, regardless of who does it or what you call it. It's not just white people that do that.

Booth was on a USA national team when she was 13 or 14, so she must have been good then. All the more surprising when she looked really bad initially, at least in the Under Armour game (some) people put way too much stock in how a player looks in the UA game, especially middles. The fact that a player is selected in the first place is good proof that they are elite quality volleyball players for their class. HOW they play in one match where they have a day or two to practice with a bunch of other players many have never played with is almost entirely irrelevant to how good of a player they were in club or how good they will be in college. There have been stars in the UA match that have never been All Americans and players that ended up multiple year All Americans who played poorly in the UA game or never wasn't even selected.

2025 Class is really strong with Pin Hitters and Setters. There are a lot of talented MBs and DS but these positions don't get as much early attention for recruiting, especially DS. Don't get caught up into these bogus rankings. I think it has been mentioned on here before some of the best in the 2025 class are playing U17 this season. 2025 class has 4 or 5 very good MBs, but there is a drop off after that, so its not the deepest position compared to others. To say there are only 4 to 5 good MBs is not accurate. I have seen some really good MBs in 16s. I don't know all of their names but remember who they played for and I am sure I am missing a lot of them. - Houston Juniors, Drive Nation, Circle City, Austin Skyline, Colorado Jrs, Sports Performance, AZ Storm, Munciana, AVC, Sting, Tribe - One of the best MBs I have seen all season plays for VolleyFX 16. This kid has a really high ceiling. She has great feet and is going to be a stud in college.

I agree especially the class of 2022 game when i saw Carter Booth, the 6-7 middle. She was sluggish, not very athletic, quick or agile. Maybe because of her height, non-college S & C program and just age. She was definitely better in those areas this past fall. I was surprised.

Booth was so bad as a prep player that every coach in the country hoped to recruit her to their school.
