Hawaii will need more depth. Hopefully they can land another quality 1 or 2 transfers. A rightside transfer would be good but with their incoming freshman, they’ll have good depth at all positions. Pertofsky is off the table now, still thinking a good transfer middle might be the answer. Hope Jacyn and Kennedi can prove me wrong tonight. Thinking that Ham might actually be effective at right side

What the actual eff are you talking about? Hawaii was only missing 2 starters as well. NO ONE is playing victim here, well fought SCRIMMAGE MATCH against 2 quality teams. Why are you being such a b!tch? Minnesota fans typically aren’t like this… Sorry I misunderstood these messages and thought you were only saying the Wahine didn’t pull the match out because they were missing players whereas the gophers “had their whole team returning” which which was a sensitive string re missing Booth, CC, Wenninnesota, and not having our new gals yet and being impressed they were pulling together some quality play. Ah I see no just a misunderstanding. Love both teams and both teams were missing players but had key impact players still there with them. I think UH gets itself underrated by underperforming in the post season recently. Minnesota is obviously a brand new team in terms of finding the right 6 and starting the KCook era. Either way I thought both teams played great and I’m glad no one tore their ACL in THIS Gopher/Wahine matchup 😭

Was fun to watch our Wahine play Minnesota last night! Still wondering why Talia didn't play. Not sure why all the testy banter, exhibitions are a great opportunity for the girls that don't usually play. I hope Jackie, Jacyn, Annika and Kennedy play more.

The highlights always make the setters look "feast or famine." Either they are setting up their hitter for an incredible kill shot, or setting up their hitter to get absolutely stuffed by a brick wall. Very little in between.

Minnesota taking it to Hawaii right now, 15-8. Hawaii a flat lining it. Minnesota servers picking on Caylen Alexander.

Minnesota has come to play, Hawaii plays must still be in their dorm rooms.

Looks like Minnesota switched back to a 6-2 in set 2 with Landfair on the bench. Gophers down 15-18.

Evans getting more comfortable in the middle tonight, not at the game of course but I’m guessing she’s still slow to block pins

Arica Davis with back to back aces. Love a middle that can serve.
