Middle offense more involved tonight. Nearing late in the third, same K and TA as thru 5 yesterday, with two fewer errors.

Hawaii brought in Igiede for set 4 and she’s going off. Already 2 kills and a block.

Another close match, congrats to Minny and thanks to coming to Hawaii least we gave them some good comp! As far as Minny I’m excited to see Murr and Phoebe play this coming season.

Solid 2 games with 2 solid teams. I’m excited that Minnesota has a rightside in Crowl that can be effective, I’m excited to see more of her.
I liked that this Hawaii team played closer to their potential, in hope these 2 close games shows them what they capable of fib they put in the off season work.

Good to see a lot of the players on both sides who didn't have great nights last night improve on their performances today.

This match also highlighted areas of work for the Bows. I’m excited to see the team in August after Tali and Stella arrive.

Crowl did show a lot of upside early last year, but, with two top recruits and a top 3 recruit on the pins once they got more healthy, it was going to be hard for her to get a lot of time. The Gophers are going to have question marks going into the fall, but they have a lot of pieces there, clearly.

Honestly, in spring matches, it is sometimes a win to not look totally disjointed. I think the closeness of the matches is a good sign for Hawai'i. I don't think anyone who fairly watched the Wahine last year would argue that having Wagoner not playing due to the focus on beach wouldn't probably work against the Wahine in these matches, but it is encouraging Ham was able to get some kills, an area in which she was inconsistent in her few front row rotations last season (but her serve receive was key). I, too, am looking forward to the fall for the Wahine. I hope all plays out as hoped and RAM has some hard decisions to make with healthy depth for once!

Right. There's nothing better for them to do there anyway. The entire state completely lacks anything of interest. It's why they had to get paid to make the trip, instead of stay home in Minny in the winter, where the weather is surely nicer. Ow. I think I suffered eye muscle sprain rolling my eyes while typing in this response. Now I'll have to see a doctor. Lol I’m actually impressed at the creation of negative conflict out of thin air. There's no thin air here. We're all very close to sea level. If you want thin air, you'll have to go to the Himalayas. Good news after visiting the doctor. He says it is only a medium sprain, so my eyes won't need a cast, just a dedicated program of exercise and rehabilitation. With any luck, I'll be back rolling my eyes again in time for the start of fall season.
