I have been following Ribechi since she was very young. Until a few years ago she played opposite, winning many awards. Among her peers she was always the player with the best skill. Then she stopped growing and, in order to continue at a high level, she had to adapt to being a Libero. An evolution, for now, exactly the opposite of Michieletto. Great love toward volleyball. I don't remember her as opposite, I clearly remember her as OH. Do you remember when she/they (Italy U16) beat Fedorovtseva's Russia in the ECH semifinals (2019)? lol.
Ribechi was skilled in defense even then. Then with Ituma opposite of course there was no history. At that time Alice Trampus was also talked about as a good prospect (I hope she explodes sooner or later). Certainly a generation blocked by covid restrictions.
