DOM takes the 2nd set, 25-20. Match tied 1-1. DOM finally played a 3-set match yesterday, back to the usual now.

It's been really nice listening to this match with no commentary - just the court action audio. I don't know if it's by accident because originally the JPN-NED and DOM-CHN streams were flip-flopped and I never exited out.

I disagree that Canada was given it unduly in two challenges. One, yes. But, Danesi should have got a card first before the ref did his own challenge to reverse the call. The ref let it go a long time and then decided to check the video again. 

I was not referring to that episode. That point was given to Italy and Danesi should have behaved better, although it is worrying that a referee does not see such a touch less than 2 meters away.

I was referring to the fourth set, e.g. point 2-4 for Canada, where from the replay from behind you can clearly see that Maglio touched the ball with her thumb. Less clear is Gray's touch toward the end of the set although index and middle fingers seem to move a bit.

DOM was up 22-20 in the 3rd but got stuck in a tough rotation with neither of the Martinez' or Gaila in the front row and never scored again.

China comes back 25-22 to win the 3rd set and now leads the match 2-1.

Also, uh, the Netherlands is up 2-0 on Japan and is trailing just 1 in the 3rd set, 17-18 in striking distance of a sweep.

China has been so low error from the service line - with just 3 compared to Dominicana's 10.
