I am so excited for this UCI series!
I hope to see the Bows pull out a series sweep but I like the Anteater program a lot too.

Getting to the post season is basically icing on the cake for this year. Pretty much with Chakas and now Chaz that’s nursing an injury are not playing.

For Charlie Wade and his staff is that there is one Hawaii player that has not stepped up and truly improved. That player is Chaz Galloway. He truly had not improved that much since his Freshman year. If you look at the rest of the Hawaii starting unit, he is the one that has really not stepped upped, or has improved that much. That is what is truly hurting this Hawaii team now, besides the inconsistent play of Tread Rosenthal. It seems like all those press clipping has gone to Tread Rosenthal's head, in the way he plays.

What are you talking about? He does all the little things which is what keeps him on the floor. Yes, he won't get 10+ kills every game....but it's the other intangibles he brings that has helped Hawaii be so successful the past 4 years he been around.

This has to be the dumbest thing you've said to date, and that is really saying something. Galloway has improved tremendously since he got here, especially in his consistency. Tread is a fantastic setter that UH is lucky to have. Seriously, do you even watch the volleyball games? Both of the players you are bashing do so much to better the ball and anchor Hawaii as a team. The fact that they aren't Chakas or Thelle (and nobody in the NCAA right now really is) doesn't give you license to tear into them like they are nothing. These are the same type of stupid things you said during the Wahine season. Someone really needs to vote you off the island, you are not a fan.

Question for all of you who say Chaz Galloway is such a good player, then why is he not starting every match, and is usually the first player to be taken out of the starting unit. If he was this really good player, that sort of thing would not occur.

The future is bright for the next few seasons based on our new commitments, but I really do hope someone will step up to be a vocal leader for this young team.

Not to mention, if Tread Rosenthal does not step up and improve greatly, Hawaii will struggle greatly next year. But not only that, the future of the USA Volleyball Team is also in trouble, if they are going to rely on Tread to be the future USA Volleyball Team Setter.

When Spyros Chakas went down with a season ending injury, a few players have tried to step up. The one problem is, one is a Freshman, another is normally just a serving specialist, and the last one is a Senior but a first time Starter. So I give these players all the credit in the world for trying. But the one player who should have stepped up, and is the most experienced hitter, has not done so, which is quite disappointing. In fact, this one player has found every reason in the world to not be on the floor. This player is Chaz Galloway. When the Hawaii Team needed him to step up, when Spyros Chakas went down, what has Chaz Galloway done. Has he stepped up and take leadership of this Hawaii Team, NO!!!!. Has Chaz Galloway upped his game, NO!!!! In Fact, if anything, he has found reasons to not be on the floor. Chaz Galloway has left it up to Keoni Thiim, Louis Sakanoko, and Alaka'i Todd to try to lead this Hawaii Team.

You are such an idiot sometimes. Why can’t you just keep these stupid statements to yourself? How about you try playing your best while nursing an injury?

I enjoy Hawaii's pin hitters as all of them bring something to the table. With Chaz being banged up as his career comes to a close, I am so grateful to just watch him step on the floor and do his best. His 1 kill against UCI on night #1 was impressive per usual. He went so high and smashed the angle. Vintage Chaz.
Keoni's fire is so impressive to me. To me, his spirited play is the epitome of Hawaii volleyball, men or women. Us local born Hawaii players may be smaller but we're coming for you with all we got and yes, we will celebrate every little win.
There will always be something to complain about but to me, it's so good to be a fan of this program.
GO BOWS!
