wow a lost to UCSD really crushed their at-large bid. So now either win BW or bust.
In the event that they don't win BW, then they better hope that UCLA and LBSU win their own conferences to have a chance on the 2nd at-large bid because UCI will get that first one. I'm not certain that the committee will award the 2 at-large spots to only one conference.
Crazy to think that if UCLA doesn't win their conference, then one on UH, UCI and LBSU is not making the NCAA tourney. Crazy.

You know, I think at the end of the day we all knew Hawaii's NCAA chances went down with Spyros. Never hurts to be optimistic (I certainly was for a while), but sometimes we ought to face the facts.

That two at-large bids are essentially secured by GCU, UCI, UCLA and LBSU now who ever doesn't win their respective conference. Hawaii is definitely have to win BWC or bust. Even a finals appearance doesn't matter now. |

I'm thinking if Hawaii gets to finals now they may be in: it would mean Hawaii was 3-1 vs UCI and I find it hard to see them picking UCI over Hawaii if that were the case.
