avid 2.0 can you give me a dumb person explanation on how these work? How does Ecza play in a 'Champions League Final' when they lost some other post-season thing to Fener? champions league is a separate event than the Turkish league. Vakifbank lost in the semis of the Turkish league play offs to Fenerbache. Fenerbache beat ecza for the Turkish league title. Vakifbank however beat Fenerbache in the champions league semi finals. So ecza made the finals of both events basically. They just lost the Turkish league play offs but still have a chance to win champions league which is the biggest club event in Europe and involves most of the best teams from a ton of different leagues and countries in Europe. It just so happens that two Turkish teams made the final for champions league this time. So Fener is the best team in Turkey but not in Europe? |

I mean lol they barely lost the semi to vakifbank in CL. I would say they are probably the best team in the world. They had to play vakifbank in both semis. Won one series lost the other. The best team doesn’t ALWAYS win. Plus fb has really young players so can be inconsistent but then they are on they are pretty unstoppable |

Clubs compete in more than one competition. To qualify for the champions league the next season, you have to finish in a high enough position in your domestic league. Vakifbank, Ecza, Imoco, FB are like the Man City, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc of wvb and almost always qualify for the CL. The champions league after the group stage is a knockout tournament, so it doesnt always lead to the same results as the domestic leagues. |

Unpopular opinion: TODAY Cansu is the best setter in this final Cansu has been better than Maja most of the time for the last two seasons. Maja occasionally still has “that match” in her though. |
