Anyone want to give head-to-head matchups here? I'll go: - OPP (Egonu/Boskovic): A healthy Bosko beats Egonu and will take over the game. Bosko is less error-prone, has more precision, and plays floor defense well.
Notably Egonu's role on Vakif is a little different than on Italy, and she gets much fewer balls.
- S (Cansu/Ognjenovic): She's been prone to inconsistency, but peak Cansu I'd say is better than Maja this season. Maja's strategy is ball delivery (e.g. to Bosko) and forcing balls to hot hitters, but her placement has looked off this season.
- OH1 (Gabi/Voronkova): Gabi I think wins hands-down against Voronkova. Better passer, better OOS hitter (though Voronkova isn't a bad hitter by any means).
- OH2 (Bajema/Baladin): At their worst, Bajema is about as bad as Hande. At their peaks this season, Bajema has shown to be much better, holding down reception and offense. She was shockingly effective OOS against Fener in the SF. Hande passes well enough but struggles to terminate.
- MB1 (Ogbogu/Jack): They run slightly different offenses - Ogbogu on the 1 or 31, Jack on the slide, but Ogbogu should win this hands-down. She's a deadly terminator, and her block has been unparalleled this club season. Jack is an effective slide hitter.
- MB2 (Gunes/Guveli): Zehra seems to have finally emerged from her slump. I'd give it to her; both hitters are good options in-system, but Zehra is a better blocker.
- LIB (Ayca/Simge): Simge's looked rough this season. I'll leave it at that.
Ayca has had her ups and downs, but she really picked it up in the SF. I thought she looked very solid in the last couple matches. She seems to me a better read defender and passer than Gizem, but slightly slower.

Eurovolley.tv truly is a scam site. Last season they sold a CL "season ticket" without access to the finals. This season it was supposed to be included but now when I login on my account I can no longer access any CL content at all. Checking my transaction history on my profile it's empty so there's not even any proof I ever purchased it  I guess they messed up something when they changed the payment provider recently... Oh well, I won't repeat the mistake of purchasing a subscription there ever again.
