You know, the pair of Loyola Marymount matches now appears to look more and more interesting. It's not a given anymore. Same goes for Nevada and Utah State.

I'm more worried about NMSU than Utah State, actually. Maybe even more than Nevada.

Oh, yes, forgot about New Mexico State. Geez...all these conference changes. Hard to keep up. They're like #8 in the nation in attendance, right? That should be interesting, I agree.

Hopefully, this season won't turn out to be like the 1997 season. That was painful -- during and shortly thereafter.

Hopefully, this season won't turn out to be like the 1997 season. That was painful -- during and shortly thereafter. What do you mean like the 1997 season. This season would be totally different knowing that the Wahine was supposed to have a great team. In 1997 they weren't expected to do well after losing those five great seniors Robyn Ah-Mow, Angellica Ljungquist, Joselyn Robins, Nalani Yama%*$#a, and Chastity Nobriga. If this season bombs it would be much more painful knowing that in the pre-season they were all hyped to possibly win it all.

Nevada might push the Wahine but Hawai'i will still go undefeated in the WAC.

I was referring to the lackluster season, the first round loss to Sarah Noriega and Loyola Marymount, and the mass exodus when the season ended. Lori Garber went to Texas Tech, Kelli Cordray did not want to play anymore (since she already had enough credits to graduate), Jameka Stevens transferred to Cal, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone else.

Ahh, yes...Kapu Elkington and K. Nihipali.
That's one, two, three...five people left the program.
And lost in the FIRST ROUND of the NCAAs.
