For the drama If Plummer had laniers statline people (myself included) would be tearing her to shreds rn lmfao Plummer wouldn't pass a 2.33 on 23 balls or defend the way Khalia defended. Khalia also had 3x as many blocks last night as Plummer did total in the VNL prelims. It's also not Plummer's second month ever on a USA squad.

I was gonna say, Khalia was a rock in serve receive and made countless digs in the back row. the blocks just sealed it

And Karch being Karch might take her even if she is injured Honestly that’s her best hope. Worked out before 💅🏼

So make it make sense.

So make it make sense. they would absolutely flame her offensive performance for going 6 kills 4 errors on 27 swings (iirc) AFTER they lit her up for passing so poorly?? I don't have any skin in the game, but I'm sensing a very familiar pattern returning and I'm not with it

Khalia was great in the other two facets. (which led to Chi and Haleigh's success) Khalia played well in set 1&2. 3 was the really poor set (she was like 1-3-11 or something like that). Was her performance perfect? no. Japan's defense really frustrated her.

Kelsey has a role on this team. but its not as OH1. I dont know why they've gone back to it... Its not like they need someone to hit in rotation one. that's what you call strategy! Expect she'll play oh2 against turkeyieeeee

For the drama If Plummer had laniers statline people (myself included) would be tearing her to shreds rn lmfao i agree. That 6/26? Meeeehhh not a plummer stan but i think lanier is a better passer. That's her edge. Now plummer needs to keep lanier in bench by playing good in conegliano. Lol

I’m not tired of this narrative. We don’t need both Larson and Cook as outside hitters. I think we get one for sure, probably both. I'm fine with them both not making the roster as long as the young ones continue to show up and deliver in big matches. But everyone hating on Kelsey and predicting/wanting her left off the roster needs to take a seat. She has value and a role to play, just not at OH1. I think we likely get both, too. But obviously, a lot of things can still happen between now and then. I don’t know why Kelsey got set so much yesterday , but it can’t (shouldn’t) be about confidence in her hitting. It just doesn’t make too much sense, and we can’t afford to let that happen against a better offensive team than Japan.

Is kcook okay? I have a feeling we have different starters against turkeyie. Also larson joined the training today 😍
