Here I was thinking I'd squeeze out a 3-2 win over eazy ...and then his Towson players put up a combined 8 aces in 4 sets. eazy's brutal loss in the 3rd-place match last year to me I think will propel them to a podium finish this year. the fantasy gods are reversing the fortune.  |

I was very much planning on losing to eazy this week—playing for the split—so I should probably be happy with almost pulling off the upset. |

I honestly cannot believe how pathetic my team was in aces this week. Haworth had 5 today, but ZERO in the first match... to be last in the league in aces this week is ridiculous.

My losses have just been brutal this year. Unless Shaff gets at least like 5 aces for vballfan, at least I will split this week. I expected about ~3 kills per set from all your setters combined.. instead they got about six. I would have been able to handle O'Farrell AND Delucchi coming back if that didn't happen. I would have won both matches this week if I didn't try to catch you in assists, but, that was still the best thing to do IMO. Just how it works out sometimes. |
