I think there's debate every year on how to decide on player awards. I think 'All-American' lists would be the most fair, because I don't think 'OPOY, DPOY, SOY, FOY' etc give out enough credit. 
Maybe every participant gets to nominate 3 or 5 or 7 players and then the league votes? Or open the voting up to the public? Just brainstorming.

All Americans seems fun!! I can think of 7 I’d want to nominate from my team once we decide (Pressly, Skinner, Oberpriller, Maberry, Igiede, Standifird, Emiliano)

I mean, I don't think there's any debate Fischer or Borum are POY or SOY. There could be arguments for the others. 42-98 possible players being voted on sounds like a headache waiting to happen.

I think one, very easy, feasible thing, would be for everyone to nominate their top-player. A 14-player all-star team. Unfortunately, I don't know if any libero's would make it, but, I expect all the other positions would be represented.

I’m on board with nominating 7 players, personally. I don’t think calculating it will be an issue, rather getting everyone to participate might be more difficult?

While this season was BRUTAL for me, it was still fun to participate I’d be down to participate in some form of all-American type of list. Would we be nominating from our own team? Then everyone votes via a poll? I have probably just one or two players I would nominate from my own team lol

I think we should keep it easy - a 14 team all American list with a self selected member of each team, and player, setter, defensive, freshman and post draft player of the years. Everyone has at least one all fantasy team quality player on their roster.

Thanks for the shout out ay2013. Loved doing fantasy this year as it made me much more engaged and invested in teams I wouldn’t ordinarily follow. I’m happy to take a more active role as admin on the challengers league if there’s not a spot in champions open next year. Thanks for your help! And thanks huskerpower for the spreadsheet!

I second this. I’ll gladly run the spreadsheet in the challengers league if huskerpower doesn’t want double duty next year. (And help in whatever other ways I can) I’m definitely a huge fantasy fan now and wouldn’t mind being in both leagues if the opportunity presents itself haha. I had way too much fun with this and I’m actually really sad it’s over.
