CEV EuroVolley 2023

The tournament will be played from August 15th to September 3rd. Pool play will be hosted in four different countries:

🇧🇪 Belgium (A), 🇮🇹 Italy (B), 🇩🇪 Germany (C) and 🇪🇪 Estonia (D).

Round of 16 and quarter-finals will be hosted in 🇧🇪 Belgium and 🇮🇹 Italy. Semi-finals and finals will be hosted in 🇧🇪 Belgium.

There are 6 teams in each pool and the 4 best ranked* teams in each pool will advance to the round of 16 where teams from pool A will face teams from pool C and teams from pool B will face teams from pool D. (E.g. the 1st ranked team in pool A will face the 4th ranked team in pool C.)

*) Criteria used to determine positions:
1st Criteria: Matches Won
2nd Criteria: Ranking Points
3rd Criteria: Set Ratio
4th Criteria: Point Ratio
5th Criteria: ‘Head to Head’ Results

Edit: It seems like you need CEV's new "Volleyball Legend" membership now for $9.99/€9.99 per month to watch all Eurovolley matches live at youtube... Hence the EuroVolley.tv Women pass is a better deal if you just want to watch womens Eurovolley.

I’m a DR Stan so I’ll allow it. Plus it’s okay. If that’s what it took for him to realize we need to play with Drca as the starter and keep maja as a great sub off the bench to change up the game if needed I’m down ! Rather VNL than something actually important

This is a great opportunity for the Netherlands to gain some ranking points. They should go undefeated in Pool D, and then I think they crossover with Pool B for the playoffs, where they would probably play Romania (maybe Bosnia) in the quarters where they should also secure another win.

yep... if they win their group they pretty much get a free pass to the semifinals (as does the winner of A1) 

B1 (Italy), C1 (Turkey), A2 (Poland or Serbia) will all be in the bottom half. 

Actually.. I did a ranking sim... they only gain 13 points across all matches until the semifinals (if they sweep) and get swept by Serbia in the SFs... that's not that good.

oh that's way less than i thought it would be...i guess it's because everyone else in the pool is ranked so lowly
