Netherlands and Germany, and to some degree Poland, are all adopting similar playing styles, and they're having some success. It's not clear that they are consistent enough, or have enough physical talent, to move to the top of European teams. Italy is in a different situation--they're just kind of a mess. Netherlands and Germany can't move to the top of European teams because they don't have a star opposite like Egonu. Just like I said. You said Italy was Netherlands with a better libero, which means that Italy would be bether than Netherlands. |

There must be some problem between her and Mazzanti or between her and the Federation. Otherwise, really, it would be a case of starting from U21 and dumping all the players (=they would not be professionals). |
