What a good season for this TCU team considering everything they went through. From Nalls being out with a concussion early in the season, Parra out with a serious back injury, Gibson missing games with a tonsil surgery, and now Buckley having to medically retire halfway through the season is something I don’t think a lot of teams would have stayed steady through. The future is extremely bright with Gibson and Parra back. I am not too sure what their incoming recruits look like, but hopefully this offseason they can grab a taller setter and a quality middle. A big key for them is suring up the liber position I think Bramscreiber did a decent job, but her passing more often than not really let games get out hand for us. Williams has this program going in the right direction, but I think if they can get a good impact transfer to balance out Parra and Gibson and maybe a standout freshman they will have a much better season. I'm hoping one of the five current freshmen are able to make an impact next year. But I would agree we need better passing. Also wondering about Hall's status come Fall 2024. I am hopefully that Hall will be a steady presence in the middle with Green gone. I am expecting that Sylvester will be more mature and have much better offensive numbers, I think that was a problem because our offense got so predictable. I mean I don't expect the middles to hit .400 on the season but getting more looks than they got this year. Do you know how many incoming recruits we have? I am interested to see if Samiyah Abdur-Rahim cracks the lineup. From some pics and videos it seems like she is an opposite. Hopefully we get an impact transfer this off-season. I truly think that in order to make a regional or even finish high in the big 12 next year we need a steady libero, that really cost us some games throughout the year because at times Parra covered half the court because Bramscreiber had some passing struggles at times.

Here is our class of '24 that I know of: Mikala Young (OH/OPP) - 6'0", TAV, Dallas, TX Evan Hendrix (OH) - 5'9" - RVA, Scottsdale, AZ Bryn Shankle (MB) - 6'4", Mizuno LB, Manhattan Beach, CA Alice Volpe (L/DS) - 5'6", HJV, Cypress, TX And yes I really like Bramschreiber but her passing left a lot to be desired unfortunately. If we were in system more we could've beaten almost any team we played.

Yea Bramscreiber wasnt horribe by any means…she had some good games and not so good games…but as a leibero the team leans on u to make digs and make good passes when needed in crucial points…seems like she’s not always in great position and when she is she struggles to pass good…

Becca Kelley is transferring in to TCU. She played with USA U19. Also, TCU and the Coach are following Averi Carlson from Baylor.

This will be huge in addition to Parra on the OH. Let’s see if they let her play 6 ro & I think if we can pick up Carlson or even another middle I think that’ll be huge

TCU looking to win the first Post Texas B12! LOL TCU will win and half the comments will be talking about how Texas locked away the best volleyball player on Earth on the bench and wasted her talent. Regardless of that I think the team is fun to watch and am excited to see them Baylor, Kansas and BYU duke it our next year now that it’s wide open!

Nearly all the active TCU fans on VT are also avid Texas fans. I see more of that from some Texas fans on the Texas threads than here. With two national championships it’s difficult for me to comprehend how much better Texas could have done with Parra. I think the overwhelming response has actually been a sense of joy she found a good fit that works for her. Most of us want to see both her and TCU have a lot of success. I do.

Love Parra, but her fans are annoying as !!!!###$$$!!!. She's obviously an amazing talent, but she was never going to start over Skinner or Eggleston. I'm glad that she found a team that better suits her needs.

For sure I was referencing more of the Parra stans on Instagram who just keep referencing her time at Texas everytime she has an accomplishment. She’s thriving now in Fort Worth and that’s what the focus should be on IMO!

I'll get a 2024 thread going once we have a better idea of what our roster will look like (hopefully not too far past this portal window close). Excited that there's a couple more TCU fans or interested people on here than when we started!
