Since Ung is out of the question Babic might be a solid get for the horned frogs. Idk how real the interest is but she’s probably the best overall setter in the portal that I can think of

Yes. I think Carlson was their priority and looks like they had a back-up option but both are a no-go now. Will be interesting to see where they go from here.

I think JW is comfortable with Nicholson. He is very familiar with Carlson and his niece is a setter at BU so he probably knew it was a long shot, but wasn’t going to tell her she couldn’t visit.

I think their effort has gone towards OH and Middles. Could see something bigger than Kelley.

lol I don’t think he thought it was a long shot. You just laid out why it was a real chance of her going. I also think by the lack of chatter around any other chatters it shows they really thought they had Carlson.

And women’s BB has 15 freakin scholarships!!
It’s a shame most teams don’t even use them and volleyball has a need for 1 or 2 more to help Libero’s. No sense.

Thats pretty cool…always thought there would be more dual athletes especially Basketball and volleyball just based on height and athletecism u need to play the sport…but u have to have alot of skill to play basketball and Sylvester has had basketball experience in the past…hope she does well…just tell her she doesnt need a group huddle after every point and when ur teammate is on the ground u help them up unlike volleyball lol

I think it has more to do with them intersecting and a lot of basketball coaches don’t wanna waste a schollie to have a player kiss
Games/practice time.

A lot of schools don’t really allow it/care for it as far as I’m aware.

Hell USC didn’t even allow their players to play both beach and sand and they are two totally different seasons
